DEATH OF MRS. KINYON
Mrs. Mary A. Kinyon, wife of A. J. Kinyon, died at 7:30 o’clock Saturday morning after a year’s illness, having been bedfast several months.
Mrs. Kinyon has resided in Galena more than forty years, having come here from Arkansas when a small girl.
She is the third of three sisters to die in the last six months. The other two were Mrs. Anna Mattix of Cardin, Oklahoma and Mrs. Tennessee Witten of Bellevue, Washington.
Surviving is her husband, four daughters, Misses Faye, Margaret, and Maud of Galena and Mrs. Walter Freeman of Frannie, Wyoming, and three sons Loyd Kinyon of Kansas City and Earl Kinyon of Galena and Joe Kinyon who lives at home with his parents, also four brothers, Elisha Thomason and G. B. Williams [?] of Galena, Thomas Thomason of Bellevue, Washington, Bradly Thomason of Duenweg, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 o’clock Sunday afternoon from the family residence, 1103 Baker Avenue with the Reverend E. E. Hollar, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church officiating. Interment was made in Oak Hill cemetery.
