"Yvonne" was born in Greensboro (Guilford County), NC, the eldest daughter of Rev. H. L. Ingram (Emertius) and the late Naomi McCullough Ingram. She received her education in the Guilford County School System graduating from James B. Dudley High School in 1952. She was wed to the late Sgt. George Maurice Taylor.

Yvonne relocated to Baltimore, MD in the early 1970's where she remained until her retun to Fayetteville, NC in 1990. She departed this life (and entered into heavenly and eternal peace) on May 30, 2008 at Whispering Pines Nursing Home, Fayetteville, NC.

She was best friends with the late Betty Baines.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons: MSgt. Darrell L. Taylor (USMC-Retired) of Jacksonville, NC, Michael B. Taylor of Charlotte, NC; one daughter: Sharon Stevens of Fayetteville, NC; her father: Rev. H. L. Ingram (Emeritus) of Fayetteville, NC; four sisters: Elaine Ingram of Buffalo, NY, Angela Johnson of Raeford, NC, JoAnn Quick of Fayetteville, NC, and Sanra Adaway of Fayetteville, NC; James Reginald Ingram of Fayetteville, seven grandcildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Yvonne Taylor, 75, of Barbour Court, Fayetteville, died Friday, May 30, 2008, in Whispering Pines Nursing Home.

Services: Funeral, 11 a.m. Tuesday. June 3, 2008 in Wiseman Mortuary chapel in Fayetteville.

Viewing: 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008 with visitation from 10:30 to 11 a.m., at the mortuary.

Survived by: Sons, Darrell and Michael; daughter, Sharon Stevens; father, H.L. Ingram; sisters, Elaine Ingram, Angela Johnson, JoAnn Quick and Sandra Adaway; brother, Reginald Ingram; and seven grandchildren.
