Esther E. Vrooman was born January 2, 1913 to Jesse B. and May Fraka on a farm in Nance county near Cedar Rapids, Nebraska. She was the eldest daughter. When whe was two the family moved to Inman, Nebraska, where she
grew up and completed her schooling. She taught school near Valentine at Agee and Stafford.
She was united in marriage to William L. Vrooman in her home at Inman on November 10, 1937 and went to live in the Venus community on the farm whree the family still resides. To this union were born six children: Shirley,
Marvin, Leland, Nelda, Willard and Loretta.
When a young girl she joined the Methodist Church at Inman, Nebraska. She transferred her membership to the Orchard EUB Church on October 5, 1952.
She leaves these loved ones: Her husband, William, six children, Mrs. Harold Kehne (Shirley) of Winnetoon, Marvin of Henderson, Leland of Decatur, Mrs. Hobart Boswell (Nelda) of Lincoln, Willard and Loretta, both at home and 6 grandchildren, her mother, Mrs. May Fraka of Wisner. Three sisters, Ruth Conard of St. Helens, Oregon, Hazel Luben of Wisner, Nebraska and Muriel Luben of Oak, Nebraska. She also leaves numerous other relatives, neighbors and friends who will miss her faith and friendship. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, WIllard and Lowell and her father Jesse.
Funeral services were held at the Orchard EUB Church, Friday, March 10, 1967 with Rev. Alvin H. Smith officiating. Burial was in the Enterprise Cemetery under the direction of Hengstler's.
Pallbearers were Art Von Seggern, George Jeffrey, Bernad Schacht, Perry Adams, Claude Elliot, and Glenn Waring.
