Julius was born in New York City and grew up
in the Bronx.
He enlisted 28 February 1966 in the Marine
Reserves at the Brooklyn Recruiting Office.He
had served for about a year in the Reserves
when he went into extended active duty.
Upon arriving in Vietnam Julius was assigned
to Hotel Company,2nd Battalion,3rd Marine
Regiment,3rd Marine Division.
Julius due as a result of a gunshot wound to
the chest during combat against enemy forces,
at Hill 881,9 kilometers west northwest of the
Khe Sanh Airfield.
Julius was single and served his country for 1
year,2 months and 2 days.KIA#11,699.
Tour of duty unknown.
Julius was 20 years and 22 days old.He died
22 days after his 20th birthday.
Survived by his parents;Julius T and Mary
Kessler of 1195 E 229th St,Bronx,NY.

He was buried 15 May 1967.
