Lula E. Hoover Armantrout, 73, a resident of three miles north-east of Bryant, died evening at her home. She had been in usual health.Mr. and Mrs. Armantrout had lived on the farm all of their married life.
She was born June 26, 1890, in Bearcreek Twp. the daughter of James and Naomi, (Glentzer) Hoover. She was married March 20, 1910 to Martin Armantrout, who survives along with two sons, Arthur and Marion Armantrout, Bryant; two daughters, Mrs. Herman Tyndall, Portland and Mrs. Doris Shepherd, Portland; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ralph Haffner, Bearcreek Twp. and Mrs. Ralph Kessler, Portland; and one brother, Archie Hoover, Muncie.
She was a member of the Limberlost Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Monday at 2 p.m. at the Baird Funeral Home. Jack W. Vancil will officiate. Burial will be in Limberlost cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today.
