Lewistown - Albert G. Coffey, 83, retired Lewistown area farmer died Tuesday in a local hospital.
He was born Jan. 7, 1884, at McKinney, Ky. Mr. Coffey married Lois S. Garrison, June 20, 1911, at Pawhuska, Okla.
He came to Montana in 1917 and lived near Dovetail where he ranched and was postmaster for 24 years. In 1956 he moved to Winnett and in 1966 to Lewistown.
Survivors include two sons, Joe of Malta, and Bob of Winnett; four daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Cook of Lewistown, Mrs. Alberta Ziesmer and Mrs. Twila McCue, both of Winnett, and Mrs. Mary Lou Bevis of Gillett, Wyo.; and two sisters and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services at First Baptist Church in Winnett. Burial in Winnett cemetery.
