Edgar Tigert was the son of William Harrison Tigert and Bell Talley. He was born in Mt Pleasant, Titus County, Texas. On 25 Dec 1912 he married Vera Johnnie Trigg in Atoka County, Oklahoma. They were parents of Pauline, Fred, Lyle, and Paul. When he registered for the draft in World War I they were living in Atoka County. He was a farmer. By 1920 they were in Eldorado. He died in Altus, Oklahoma.
