I don't have anything that gives her birth date as the one shown above, I have found most records giving her birth as 1776. ??? Most list her birthplace as Mississippi and a few say it is Louisiana, we have no records that tells us for sure where she was born. Also on her death place, some say Vincent Settlement, some say Bayou d'Inde, all we know for sure is she died in Calcasieu parish.
Mary Ann was the daughter of Benjamin Hargrave and Rebecca Elizabeth (Gualtney) Hargrave.
She married John Jacob Ryan on 6 Jan 1793 and had 13 children:
