James Thomas Snyder
James Thomas Snyder was born of William and Elizabeth Snyder on May 25, 1880 in Junction City, Tennessee. His passing from this earth occured on November 27 1946.
His boyhood wqas spent in the vicinity of Greenville, Tennessee. In this community there is a church called the Church of Shilo at which J.T. Snyder received his Christian training.
Having assumed manhood Mr. Snyder took up residence in this locality. He was married to Georgia Esther Fogg on April 15, 1906. To this union two children were born, Mary Margaret and James William. Those of his family who are left to mourn his passing incude his wife, two children and one grandchild, Georgia May, five brothers, Henry of San Francisco, California, Arthur of Des Moines, Charley of Adel and Duward of Des Moines and Vee of Altoona, also his sister, Lucy of Des Moines.
His most outstanding accomplishment is great indeed, was a friend to all mankind. He was as a husband, kind and affectionate and as a father, strong and understanding and deeply devoted to his children. As a relative or friend he showd his consideration through numerous acts of kindness.
So having earned the love and respect of a multitude of friends, James Thomas Snyder enjoyed the peace to which he is truly entitled.
