Mrs. Nannie Lee Tunmire, 88, of Waco died Thursday at her residence.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Waco Memorial Park, the Rev. E. J. Culp officiating.
Mrs. Tunmire was born Jan. 30, 1901, in McLennan County. She was married to William David Tunmire, who died in 1971. She worked at Waldrip Candy Co. and Copeland’s Grocery Store. She later was a cashier at the Greyhound Bus station. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. David J. (Joyce) Park of Waco; three sons, Arthur Tunmire of Waco, James Ray Tunmire of Lewisville and David Charles Tunmire of Riesel; two sisters, Edna Freeman of Waco and Mattie May Richardson of Sandy, Utah; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
