William Allen Hall, son of Furney Hall & Zilpha W. Price, Married Frances Coleman daughter of Timothy T. Coleman, Sr & Martha Shreve, 1858 Ray Co., MO. to this marriage the following Children were born: Martha E.,Edwin (Female, my Grandmother)Timothy, Soloman, James, Cora, Ida Mae, & Louella. Only Four daughters lived to adulthood, Edwin, Furney Ann,Ida Mae & Louella. Second William married Sarah Janette Tucker daughter of Daniel Tucker & Millie Elliott, on 10 Nov 1836, Ray Co.,MO To this marriage were born : Daniel W., Andrew Elliot, Ruth, Benjamin Franklin, William Allen, jr.,Joseph Pedigrew , Roland Reubin, Jewel Vivian, Mildred & Phillip Doniphan.

William A. Hall, Sr., a pioneer resident of Orrick community, passed away at his home Northwest of town at ten o'clock P.M. Monday evening, June 17th, following an illness which had lasted for several months.
Deceased was native of southwestern Ray County, being a Son of Fernie (Furney) and Zelphia Price Hall, who can to Ray County from North Carolina many years ago. He was born May 7,1841, therefore had passed his 88th birthday. When 17 years of age he was married to Miss Frances Coleman and to this union eleven children were born, three of whom as following are living: Mrs. John Holmes, of Kansas City (this has to be a mistake. in 1924 Orrick Times stated she lived in Oklahoma) Mrs Lou Blain of Liverty, and Mrs Edwin Wheeler of Canute,Oklahoma.
His second marriage was to Miss Sarah Jeanette Tucker, of this community on May 7,1878 and to this union also eleven children were born, 10 of whom with the wife and mother survive as follows: W. A. Hall Jr. , Mrs Murl Scott, Kansas City, Mrs. Homer McGinnis, Richmond, Ben Hall, Rolland Hall, Phillip Hall, Mrs.Elwyn (Elvin) Taylor, all of Orrick.
Mr. Hall was one of the highly respected citizens of this section, having spent his entire life near his birth place. His fair way of dealing with his fellowman endeared him to all who knew him.
His occupation has been that of farmer, store keeper He was a member of Old Albany Baptist Church, also a charter member of Ada Lodge No. 444, A.F.& A.M., being a member of the later for 67 years.
Funeral services were held from the home Wednesday after noon at 2 O'clock conducted by Rev. W.A. Crum, after which the remains were taken in charge by the Orrick Masonic Lodge and laid to rest in the Riffe Cemetery.
The entire community joins the Times in extending deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.
