Beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Annie Myrtle (Pickard) Loertscher, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Friday, August 16, 2002.

She was born Oct 17, 1920 in Meridian, MS to Greenberry Franklin and Sarah Alice (Dearman) Pickard. She was raised in Mississippi until she married her sweetheart, Joseph Loertscher, June 5, 1942 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were united for 60 years.

Annie and Joseph lived in various communities throughout the state of Utah, including Farmington, Price, Bountiful, Bluebell, and Salt Lake City. She also lived in Mississippi caring for her loving parents.

Annie loved the gospel of her Lord Jesus Christ and was able to fulfill a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) in Kissimmee, FL with her husband, 1988-89. She also served faithful in church callings, spending 30 years in various primary positions. She loved her rose garden, crocheting, oil painting and her doll collection. She touched our hearts and became a part of us. The family would like to give thanks to the personnel at the Heritage Bennion Care Center for their loving care of Annie.
