Mary THOMPSON, nee McNEES, born July 22, 1838, died at the home of her youngest daughter, Mrs. Ira HUTCHISON, February 24, 1911, with whom she had made her home. She was aged 72 years, 7 mos, and 2 days.
She was married to William P THOMPSON, March 10, 1859. Early in life she became united with the church and lived a consistent Christian life. Her sincere and earnest Christian character exerted a wide influence in the community where she lived. All who came in contact with her loved her. Our loss will be her gain.
She is survived by 3 sons and 4 daughters, all of who are married. 15 grandchildren all being present at funeral except 2 son-in-laws. Services by Rev. McNEES of N. Washington. By request assisted by her pastor, Rev. McSHERRY. Mary died Feb 24, 1911; of Influenza and Senility, she is buried in the Old Annandale Cemetery, Butler Co, PA.
