A son of Daniel U. and Mary (Shuss) Snyder. He was united in marriage with Emeline Karns Steele on Dec. 27, 1881. He was survived by his two daughters, Maude Hall and Mary Creps; and four grandsons, Roy Creps, Homer, Roger and Guy Hall. He was predeceased by his wife and several children.

ADAM SNYDER
Adam Snyder, one of Hopewell township's progressive and prosperous farmers and a widely known man, died at his home Feb. 28, 1927, after an illness of several months, aged 74 years, 3 months and 6 days.

The deceased was born on Clear Ridge south of Everett, Nov. 22, 1852, a son of the late Daniel and Mary Shuss Snyder. He was united in marriage with Emeline Steele on Dec. 27, 1881. His wife died about two years ago.

For several years he followed the occupation of a school teacher, and also served a term as County Auditor. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ira Creps and Mrs. James Hall, both of Yellow Creek, and a sister, Mrs. Catherine Sell, of near New Enterprise. He was a member of the Church of the Brethren. Funeral services were conducted in the late home, the Rev. Joseph Clapper officiating. Interment was made in the Yellow Creek Brethren cemetery.
