Services for Milton A. Maret, 93, of Sherman will be held Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Sherman. Mr. Maret passed away Thursday, May 9, 2007 at Wilson N. Jones Medical Center. Waldo Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Milton was born August 17, 1913 in Sherman, Texas to W.A. and Maud Akers Maret. He was a graduate of Sherman High School. Milton served in the Army Air Corps 3 ½ years during World War II. Following tours in England, Italy and North Africa, he worked for the Sherman Democrat and Quaker Oats Co. before purchasing North Texas Barber and Beauty Supply in 1960. For 36 years he was the consummate salesman, never meeting a stranger. Milton faithfully attended First Baptist Church and Sunday School for many years.
