Arna G. Hockenbroch, 104, a formerly of Liverpool RR 1, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 2003 in Nipple Convalescent Home, Liverpool.
She was born Aug. 22, 1899 to the late Peter and Susan (Fawver) Bucher.
She was a retired nurse and had been employed at hospitals in Philadelphia and Danville; a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Liverpool RR 1, where she was a member of the Ladies Aide; and enjoyed crocheting and collecting four-left clovers, which at the time of her death she had collected more than 17,000.
She was the widow of Aaron Hockenbroch, who died in 1971.
Surviving are two sons, Leslie C. of Millerstown RR 2 and Leon H. of Newport RR 1; a daughter, Myrna R. Buckley of Liverpool RR 2; a daughter-in-law, Eleanor F. Hockenbroch of Liverpool RR 1; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Junior D.; four brothers, El-mer, Herman, Stanley and Emery; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 27 in Garman Funeral Home, N. Front Street, Liverpool, with the Rev. Lisa Klinger officiating. Burial was in Barner's Lutheran Cemetery, Liverpool RR 1.
