O.P. GARRIOTT DIES IN TEXAS:
Funeral Services To Be Held Here Tuesday At Maupin Funeral Home:
Funeral services for O.P. Garriott, 57, of Steedman, who died Friday at Baylor Hospital in Dallas, Texas, will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Maupin Funeral Home here.
Burial will be at Steedman and services will be conducted by the Reverend C.C. Riley.
Mr. Garriott was born July 11, 1886 in Kentucky. He had been a railroad mechanic with the Missouri-Kansas-Texas railroad for many years and had been ill only two weeks before he died. He underwent an operation at the Baylor Hospital on April 22, and died five days later.
He is survived by his widow and a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Osbourne of Washington, D.C.
