Born at Shirleysburg, PA.

Philip Glock was born in Huntington County, Pennsylvania, February 18, 1851 and died in the
Mary Lanning Hospital at Hastings October 29, 1931,
aged 80 years, eight months and 11 days.

While a boy he moved with his parents to Lena, Illinois where he grew into manhood.

On January 11, 1883 he was united in marriage to Miss Phebe Beam to which union was born a son who
died in infancy.

After their marriage they went to Kansas where they spent the remaining part of the winter from whence they came to Davenport, Nebraska, where they made their home on a farm two miles southwest of town. In 1911 they moved to town where they resided until his death.

Mr. Glock was a member of a family of nine children of whom only two are living. Those left to mourn his departure are, his wife, Mrs. Phebe Glock, one brother, An-
drew of Rising City, Nebraska, and one sister, Mrs. Frank Rhodes of Dallas Center, Iowa. His absence will also be deerly felt by many other reltives and friends.

Before retirement, Mr. Glock was an industrious and successful farmer. He made many close friends and won the respect of everyone with whom he became acquainted.
Because of his integrity and loyalty to the community in
which he lived, he was a valuable citizen and admired by all.

Mr. Glock was baptized Sunday, October 11. 1931 and became a member of Christ's Lutheran Church at Davenport. Interment was made in the Davenport Cemetery. Six
nephews acted as pallbearers and Rev. Hershey conducted the funeral service.
