Ruth Montague, dau. of Nathaniel, b. Nov. 27, 1790, at Cambridge, Vt. Removed to Potsdam, N. Y., with her parents in 1807. She drew a pension for her father's services in the Revolution, from the time the law passed Congress until she died. Married, Solomon Cotton in 1810. He was b. May 7, 1790, in Montpelier, Vt., and d. Sept, 1853. She d. Nov. 25, 1874.
