Gladys M Fox - Funeral services for Gladys M Fox, 61 will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev Norman Landvik officiating. Burial will be at Mount Angeles Memorial Park under direction of Ridgeview Funeral Chapel. Mrs Fox died Sunday in Port Angeles.
She was born Jan 29, 1919, in Demming, Wash, to Mr and Mrs Art Gray.
Mrs Fox grew up in the Sappho area and was valedictorian of the 1939 graduating class at Forks High School. She moved to Port Angeles in 1939 and was employed in a department store and a doctor's office. On Aug 17, 1939, in Walla Walla, she married Bob Fox of Port Angeles.
Mrs Fox was an active member of many organizations and clubs, including the YMCA Circle and the Eagles Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband Bob; a son James Fox of Port Angeles; a daughter, Mrs Marc'e Brennan of Bellingham; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Wiley Duncan, Olger Sandberg, Carl Holm, Clarence Brink, Jack Montgomery and Charles Church.
Honorary pallbearers will be E V Olsen Jr, Frank Paynter, Lee Reynolds, R L Love, Harold Widsteen and John Singhose.
Memorials may be made to Clallam County Hospice, P O Box 2014, Port Angeles.
