Services for Allen Bateman Clark, 55, of 4850 Whitewood Ave., Lakewood Village, were held Friday, Nov. 5 in the Grace Chapel of Inglewood Memorial Park Cemetery, the Rev. Laurence V. Lucas of Grace Methodist church officiating. Mottells Mortuary of Long Beach directed the arrangements.

Mr. Clark who died Nov. 3, in a local hospital, was born in Versailles, Ill. and came to South Gate in 1920 where he lived for 20 years at 8932 San Luis Ave. prior to moving to Lakewood Village.

He was a veteran of World War I and was employed with Benson Cabinet Works. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Jeanette; five sons, Francis, George, Arthur, and Richard Clark, living in Long Beach and Lakewood Village, and William Clark of Bell; two daughters, Ellen Clark and Mrs. Mildred Walker of Lakewood Village.
