Catherine Caldwell Blackburn, 82, passed away on Monday, December 27, 1999. She was a native of Maxville and moved to Glen St. Mary in 1974. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cuyler. She was the daughter of the late Colon and Mae Green Caldwell. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack, sister, Sadie Watson, brother, Clifton Caldwell and nephew Gene Watson. Survivors include her daughters, Carolyn (James) Curry and Sharon (Larry) Davis, both of Glen St. Mary; son, Jack (Gay) Blackburn of Glen St. Mary; sister, Norma Bullock of Jacksonville; brother-in-law, Rev. Melvin Watson of Jacksonville; sister-in-law, Eunice Caldwell of Jacksonville; grandchildren, James Curry, II, Rebecca Johnson, Steven Curry, Erica Blackburn, Cathy Davis, Ryan Davis and Ashley Davis; great grandchildren, James Curry, Jordan Johnson, Amber Johnson, Emily Johnson, Chloee Blackburn, Timothy Curry and Casey Curry, and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 30, at 1 PM in the Long Branch Baptist Church, with Rev. Williams Saunders and Rev. Al Dorminey, officiating. Interment will be in Long Branch Cemetery. The visitation will begin at 9 AM until 9 PM on Wednesday (today) at Fraser Funeral Home, 712 S. 6th Street, Macclenny, FL.
