Mr. Cox was employed by Chillicothe Motor Express for 11 years and was a member of the Teamsters Local.
The son of Ernest W. and Gladys McCartney Cox, he was born July 22, 1935. On March 3, 1962, he married Anna Louise Young, who survives.
Also surviving are his mother; a daughter, Sheryl Renee; three sisters, Mrs. Carlene Arledge, Mrs. Herman (Ada) Speakman, and Mrs. Ronald (Sandra) Smith; and seven brothers, Ernest, Granville, Jerry, Steven, Lawrence, Roger, and Jack.
Service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the First EUB Church, with the Rev. Raymond Welch officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the Fawcett Oliver Funeral Home.
