Adjudged Insane
Thorn Anderson, a carpenter and old citizen was before Judge Benjamin today to be declared insane. He is violent and dangerous and his friends thing that a course of treatment in the asylum will be beneficial. Anderson has for years been working on an idea to accumulate power by a system of double leverage and has finally driven himself insane.

Death of Thorn Anderson
The funeral of Mr. Thorn Anderson, who died Thursday morning at his residence, 603 E. North street, will take place from the Prairie Street Baptist church tomorrow, (Wednesday, 29th) afternoon, at 2 o’clock. Mr. Anderson was a workman in H.A. Miner’s shop. He leaves a wife and five small children. He had an unfortunate mental disorder.
