Lillie Mozelle was born the oldest child of eight children. She was born to Curtis Oren Gaddy and Ida Mae Nix Gaddy on Feb.14,1934, in Longbranch, Texas, Rusk County, and died in Beaumont, Texas in the Baptist Hospital.

She loved to fish, sew, and do crafts when she had the time.

She had three sisters, Louise, Elizabeth, and Betty, and four brothers, Ellis, Wayne, Mack and Lynn. Her dad, mother, and brother, Ellis, preceded her in death.

She was a hard worker, and filled out income taxes for the publc many years. She married two husbands, Matthew Johnson in June, 1953, divorced, and married William E. Horn, on July 19, 1970.

She had 5 daughters, Sheila Jean Johnson Driscoll, Virginia Mae Johnson, Jones, Bishop, ( who later became Virginia Mae Norman,) Melissa Renee' (Johnson) Horn Sharver, Belinda Lanell Horn, Smith,( who later became Belinda L. Hollie,) and Thora Felice Horn, Hughey.

At the time of her death, she had 12 grandchildren. They are (Amanda) Mandy, (Andrew) Andy, (Sandra) Sandy, (Kandice) Kandy, Richard Jones, Lorie Jones, Robert Bishop, Zack Sharver, Ashley Sharver, Charlie Smith, Kellie Smith, and Jimmy Hughey

Her grandson, Charlie ( Charles Edward Smith III,) passed away on August 10, 2022, at age 37 years,

She lived in Shreveport, La., Caledonia, Texas, and Bon Wier, Texas as well as other places during her life. However, she lived in Bon Wier, Texas most of her life.

Her funeral was Dec.11, 2000 @ 2:00P.M., in Bon Wier, Texas, in the UPC Church, with her funeral being the last one in that building before moving to the new building.

Her brother Ellis Oren Gaddy was killed in 1989. Her brother Carl Wayne Gaddy died in 2012. Her brother Mack was killed instantly and tragic on Sept.11, 2010 by a tree falling on him. On January 28, 2016, her brother Curtis Lynn Gaddy was killed in an accident (not an auto accident.) Her sister, Louise, died in 2018, after a lengthly illness.
