Samuel Danovitch was born (according to his naturalization records) 7 Apr 1850 in Lumza Poland/Russia. He was the son of Mikhel Yankeliovich Dynovich (or Dunovich) and Keylya Teveliovna. I have not yet determined what his original name was.

He married Betsey Herlovitch about 1870, probably in Lumza, Poland. They immigrated to the US sometime after 1880. Samuel was naturalized 15 Feb 1896 in Boston, Massachusets.

After Betsey's death, he married 2nd to Rose Goldstein Mikalsansky (also known as Rachel) on Jan 1, 1900 in Boston. He married then Annie Schneider on Jul 29, 1918 in Boston, Suffolk Co, MA.
