Julius Herman Schulz was born 28 Jul 1908 in Columbus, Colorado, Texas. His parents were Julius Alexander Schulz and Mary Rose Fritsch. When he was 24, He married Juanita Lee Dowis, daughters of William Lee Dowis and Lena Shelly Mcgregor, on 14 Apr 1933.

Julius Schulz of Dallas. brother of seven Wacoans. died Thursday in a Dallas hospital. Services will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday in Wilkirson and Hatch Chapel, Dr. Herbert Howard of Dallas officiating. Burial will be in Rosemound Cemetery. Surviving are his widow: two sons. Justin Schulz and Judson Schulz, both of Dallas: a daughter, Judith Schulz of Dallas. and seven sisters. Mrs. J. P. Harrell. Mrs. E.D. Wemple, Mrs. C. R. Lewis, Mrs. A. D. Tynes. Mrs. Earl Threlkeld, Mrs. Ida Cooke and Mrs. Jerry Smith, all of Waco.
