Shelby, N.C. — Mr. Anthony Carl Lail, 50, of 122 Trent McSwain Road, died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at home.
Born in Mecklenburg County Sept. 4, 1953, he was a son of Mary Wilma Martin Lail and the late "A.C." Ambrose Carl Lail.
He was employed with Lail Construction and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Ambrose Lail.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Crystal and Donnie Henderson; a son, Chad Hullenger; a stepson, Tony Burns; a stepdaughter, Connie Thompson; a grandson, Bradley Lail; A granddaughter, Macayla Henderson; four brothers, Larry Lail, Billy King, Clyde King and Ronnie Lail; and four sisters, Paulette Owens, Frances Black, Marilyn Green and Debbie Keener.
The funeral will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Chapel, with the Revs. Billy Boone and Johnny Owens officiating.
Burial will be in Cleveland Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7:30 at the funeral home and at other times at the home.
