Isaac Curl first saw the light of day at the beginning of the nineteenth century. He was the son of William and Sarah Ball (Brown) Curl. He was born on 27 APR 1798. At the age of eighteen he left his native land (Hampshire Co. VA) and took up his residence in Clark Co, Ohio. According to marriage records of Ohio Vol. 1A he married Nancy Dawson on 27 JAN 1820 in Clark Co. She was the daughter of Henry Dawson. They had children: Isaac 1824, William H. 1829, Lewis 1830, Verlinda 1832, Ealener 1834. After residing in Clark Co. for a few years they moved to Champaign Twp, Ohio on a farm he left to his son Lewis. He lived here for 30 years. According to The History of Champaign Co. 1881.
