Twyla Billings
Twyla M. Billings, 67, of Donnellson died at 6:45 p.m. Monday, April 7, 2008, at Lexington Square in Keokuk.
Born Oct. 1, 1940, at Kossuth, she was the daughter of Clifford O. and Maudie Marie Piper Lee. On March 29, 1969, she married Gene E. Billings. in Kahoka, Mo. He died July 8, 2006.
Mrs. Billings worked at Burlington Medical Center and Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant as an admitting and insurance clerk. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Burlington.
Survivors include one son, Kenton Billings of Burlington; two daughters, Marla R. Neff of Donnellson and Marie Jackson of Donnellson; one grandson she raised, Kiel Jackson of Cedar Rapids; nine other grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Lee of Burlington and Lyle Lee of Mystic; one sister, Marcelle Lee of Burlington; nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by one grandchild, her parents, one sister and three brothers.
