Jacob Geib is the son of John Geib Jr. and Barbara Hershey Geib of White Oak. (John Geib Jr was the son of Conrad 1694-1762)
John Geib Jr.'s wife Barbara was the daughter of Jacob Hershey of Warwick Township, Lancaster County, Pa.
Jacob Hershey bought land from the sons of Jacob Meyer, upon his death (tract called "Jacob's Plains") situated in Lebanon Township.
Jacob Hershey later sold "Jacob's Plains" to his son-in-law John Geib in 1792 & 1803 Dauphin County, Pa., (now Lebanon County).
