Harriet was the daughter of Thomas Armor Henderson and Eliza Jane Yerian.
She married on January 23, 1901, Jackson County, Ohio, to William Ellsworth Aleshire.
They are listed in the 1910 census of Scioto Township, Jackson, County, Ohio. He was a farmer.

Following Lengthy Illness
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon for Mrs. Harriett L. Aleshire, 78-year-old Jackson resident, who succumbed at the home of her sister, Mrs. Callie Walker, on West street Thursday morning at 6:30 o'clock.
Mrs. Aleshire, who had made her home with her sister for more than five years, had been ill for slightly more than a year as the result of complications.
In addition to Mrs. Walker, Mrs. Aleshire leaves another sister, Mrs. Alice Riegel of Plain City, Florida. Her husband William E. Aleshire, preceded her in death six years ago.
The body may be viewed at the Don Sperry funeral home Friday evening.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at two o'clock in the Evangelical United Brethren church with Rev. Evan D. Jones officiating.
Burial will be made in the Fairmount cemetery.
