Bevard. A large number from this neighborhood attended the funeral Sunday afternoon of Virgil Alderman, who died last Wednesday at his home south of Larkinburg, after an illness of several months. He was operated on in a hospital in Topeka last May, but was able to be at work again and everyone had hopes of his recovery until he become unconscious last week ... was a teacher of the Men’s Bible class of the Larkinburg Sunday school ....
