FRED WILLIAM AHRENDT
CHESTERTON - Fred William Adhrendt, 94, MR U.S. 12, died at the home of his son Louis at 6:15 a.m. April 28, 1960 after a short illness.
He was born in Chicago Feb 3, 1876, the son of Chrles and Minnie (Sanke) Ahrendt. He came to the Chesterton area at the age of five and remained here until his death.
On Sept 20.,1902, he was married at Augsburg Lutheran church to Anna Johnson, who preceded him in death. He is survived by four sons, William, Wallace, Louis and Edgar all of Chesterton, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at the Augsburg Lutheran church with the Rev. John Chell officiating. Burial in Burstrom cemeter, Oakhill road. Johnson Funeral hom is in charge.
