Wayne R. Bleidner, of Pelham, NY, died accidentally on March 15, 2008 in NYC. He was 51. Mr. Bleidner worked as an Operating Engineer for Local #14 in NYC. Mr. Bleidner was born April 1, 1956 in NYC to Robert and Doris Robson Bleidner. He was educated in City Island and graduated from Mount St. Michael H.S. in 1974. He attended Iona College. On November 14, 1992, he married Denise C. Courtien at St. Catharine's Church in Pelham. Mr. Bleidner lived in City Island, NY for 36 years. He was a member of St. Catharine's Parish. Mr. Bleidner will be remembered for being a loving husband, son and father as well as a caring friend, neighbor and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his wife, Denise, his son, Robert Joseph, his father, Robert Bleidner and many loving family members. He was predeceased by his mother, Doris and son, Thomas Robert. Visiting hours will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Catharine's Church on Wednesday at 10 am.
