Eldest son of Tom W. Bobo, Sr. and Frances D. Bobo. He never married. Diagnosed with pituitary gland cancer at age 12 (1953). Survived surgery and radiation; given five years to live. He lived 34 years, outliving all his doctors. He was the most humble and generous person I have ever known. He wrote poems and children's stories, and loved horses and dogs.
