Mr. Bloodworth was a life long resident of Wilkinson County. He was the son of the late William Franklin and Ada Whitaker Bloodworth and was precedeceased by a son, C.E. Bloodworth. He was a retired carpenter from Englehard and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Hettie Campbell Bloodworth of McIntrye; two sons, Morgan Bloodworth of Milledgeville, Gerald Bloodworth and wife Carol of McIntyre; two sisters, Elizabeth McCook of McIntyre, and Carolyn Watson of Milledgeville; five grandchildren, Bill Bloodworth, Lisa Bloodworth both of McIntyre, Teresa Baker and husband Eddie, Susan Bentley and husband Richard and Derek Bloodworth and wife Lynette all of Milledgeville; six great-grandchildren.
