Freddie Charles Jackson was a U.S. Army veteran, an employee of Cohn Elementary School in Port Allen and an avid fan of Southern University football. He is survived by his mother, Anna Jones Jackson; children, Lynette Adams and husband Calvin and Brian Byrd; grandchildren, Zoa Lynette and Calvin Adams, Jr.; sisters, Naomi Carr, Marion Jackson and Demetria Jackson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ernest & Florida Jackson, Howard Jackson, Kenneth & Kathy Jackson, Leonard and Katherine Jackson and Marvin Jackson; godsons, Oliver Shamburg, Jr. and Kadeem Dogan; best friend, Clarence Breaux and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, the Port Allen tailgating crew and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Booker T. Jackson, Jr., brother, Oscar Lee Jackson and grandparents, Scentilia and Booker T. Jackson, Sr., Lizzie Holly and Willie Jones.
