David E. Crissman, 87, of Springfield, Ohio, formerly of the Adrian area, died at 8:20 p.m. yesterday at Springfield Community Hospital after a short illness. Crissman was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian, and the Junior Order of United American Mechanics. He had resided in Springfield for 49 years. Born Jan. 6, 1884 in Washington Township, he was a son of Levi and Ida (Johns) Crissman. Survivors include his son. Kenneth W. Crissman of Bellefontaine, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Herbert (Ida) Pencil of Springfield, Ohio, and Mrs. Don (Eunice) Burris of Sidney, Ohio: two step daughters, Mrs. Harold (Mildred) Kitchen of Springfield and Mrs. Edgar (Beatrice) Pencil of North Hampton, Ohio. Also surviving are two half-sisters, Mrs. Millie Lasher and Mrs. Verda Lasher, both of Adrian RD 1; 20 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a wife and two daughters. CRISSMAN -Friends of David E. Crissman, who died April 22, 1971, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Littleton Funeral Home in Springfield, Ohio, where the Junior Order of the United American Mechanics will conduct a service at 8 p.m. Saturday. Visitation is scheduled from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Walter G. Snyder Funeral Home, Cowansville. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Adrian, conducted by the Rev. Lawrence R. Camberg, church pastor. Burial will be in St. Mark's Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by Snyder.
