This is my sweet grandmother. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. I was only a small child when she died but in my baby book my mother wrote wonderful notes about her. My one living Aunt tells me stories about her childhood and has sent me letters over the years that she saved from her mother. My parents talked about her so much that we shared their memories as well as our own.

She lived with us during her illness which lasted for almost a year. She died from Pneumonia at the home of her oldest son. She left us much too soon but she left her family with wonderful memories.

Arminta Lollar Johnson was the daughter of John Jefferson Lollar and Leoma Mary Burgess. Arminta "Minta" married Riley R. Johnson July 2, 1901 in Jackson Co, TN.
