M'Cleary (special) - Mrs. Maude Berger, 71, McCleary resident since 1942, died Saturday at the hospital there. She was born January 28, 1888, in Kansas. She was a member of the Presbyterian church at Strasburg, Colo.
Surviving are her husband, Wilson Berger, at the home here; a daughter, Mrs. Lee Tarman, Elma; three sons, Charles Berger, Fredonia, Kan., Murle Berger, Westminster, Colo., and Lester Berger, Forks, Wash., a brother Harry Lee, Lafayette, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Clara Webb, Creston, Kans.; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Whiteside Chapel in Elma with the Rev. Willard Buckner officiating. Interment will follow in the McCleary Cemetery.
