WILLIAM A. LOFTIS
INMAN--(special)-- William Andrew Loftis, 76, farmer of Inman Route 2, died at his home Wednesday at 1 p.m.
He was the son of the late Marion and Belzie Green Loftis.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs Eliza M. Loftis; four daughters, Mrs Pearl Bishop of Spartanburg, Mrs Matsy Mahaffey, Mrs Bernice Davis and Miss Iris Loftis; two sons, Floyd and Boyce Loftis, all of Inman; 28 granchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 3:30 at Rock Hill Baptist Church near here by the Revs W.K. Wyatt, Ansel Pruitt, Mr Jackson, and Harold Mason. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbeareres. The body will be at the home after 10 a.m. Thursdaay.
The Seawright Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
