She was approved for CSA pension in 1912 in Colquitt. Saying that Abram Demot died March 2, 1874 in Jefferson Co. Fla. They married in Jefferson Co. Fla June 26, 1853 and moved to Ga in May 1905.
Abrahm Demott enlisted in the Magnolia Dragons in 1862 in Jefferson County and afterwards served in the 15th Cavalry. He was wounded March 1865 and in the hospital in Mobile at surrender time.
