Anna Louise Allen, 92, of Lake Ozark, Mo., passed away March 7, 2008, in Eldon, Mo. She was born May 31, 1915 in west Eldon, to Nancy Alice (Jobe) and John Thomas Watt.

Louise married Willie 'Bill' Howard Allen on March 4, 1934. He preceded her in death on Sept. 6, 1982.

Bill and Louise had three children, Ruby and (Allen) Mead; Jo Ann Parker; and James Allen; six grandchildren, children of Ruby, Deborah Mead Stout and son Steven Stout; Majorie Mead; Dr. Alan Mead and children, Juliette Mead and Annaliese Mead; children of Jo Ann, Henry Clark and children Michael Clark and Anna Clark; and children of James, Richard Allen and Christopher Allen; and many more relatives

Mrs. Allen attended Eldon High School.

Bill and Louise Allen built and operated Allen's Cottages Lake Resort for 45 years. She served as an alderwoman for the city of Lake Ozark for 12 years and was a lifetime member and vice president of the Lake Ozark Red Bud Garden Club. She also was a member of the Rocky Mount Baptist Church in her youth and a member of the Bagnell Baptist Church for 60 years.

Visitation will be held from 9-11 a.m., Thursday, March 13, at the Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon.

Services will be at 11 a.m. March 13, with Rev. Jay Quinn officiating.

Burial will be in the Doolin Cemetery in Eldon.

Memorials made be made to the donor's choice.

Louise was preceded in death by five sisters and three brothers, Jewel Martin, Dorothy Huston, Alice Vernon, Ruth Thomas, Ruby Riffle, John Watt, Ralph Watt, and Joseph Watt.
