RENEAU, MRS. BETTY JEANETTE MURPHY -- age 78 of 4301 Plummer Rd., passed away Wednesday evening at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was a member of Inskip Baptist Church, Ruth Sunday School Class. Survivors: Husband, John C. Reneau; 1 daughter, Mrs. Mary S. Damewood; son-in-law, Bill E. Damewood; grandson, David Lynn Damewood, all of Powell; sister, Frances Smith of Indiana; Gladys Kimbrough of New Market; brothers, George Murphy, Moscoe Murphy, both of Morristown; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service 2 p.m. Saturday at Rose Chapel, Rev. Robert Sanders officiating. Interment Lynnhurst Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at Rose Mortuary.
