Hoyt B. Bennett Sr., 91, of Dawsonville died Saturday.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was preceded in death by his sons, Donald and Bobby Bennett.
Survivors include his wife, Wynelle Wallace Bennett, Dawsonville; children, Margaret Abbot, Hoyt Bennett Jr. and Berry Bennett, all of Dawsonville; sisters, Bonnie Cox, Jessie Lee Fagan and Kathleen Bennett, all of Cumming; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends all day Sunday at the funeral home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday, April 28, 2003, at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jack Biddy, the Rev. Emerson Payne, the Rev. Sven Mossinger and the Rev. Danny Ray Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
