WERNER - On Saturday, Oct. 7, 1944, at 1 p.m., at the Hanover General Hospital, Mary J. Stiffler, wife of Charles Q. Werner, Seven Valleys, R.D. 1, aged 52 years, 8 months and 14 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 1:30 p.m. from her late home with concluding services at Stone Church. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
Friends may call at the late home from Monday evening until time of funeral.

Mrs. Mary Werner, Near Seven Valleys, Expires
Seven Valleys - Mrs. Mary J. Stiffler Werner, wife of Charles Q. Werner, Seven Valleys R.D. 1, died Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Hanover General Hospital, where she had been a patient five days. Mrs. Werner, who had undergone a surgical operation, died of cardiac dilations. She was 52.
Surviving, besides her husband, are the following children: Mrs. George Yost, Seven Valleys R.D. 1; Mrs. Hiram Dickmyer, Glen Rock R.D. 1; Charles S. Werner, Douglasville; Theodore E. and William F. Werner, York R.D. 3; Mrs. Lester Shaffer, Seven Valleys R.D. 1, and Saranda and Anna Werner, both at home; her father, Edward Clinton Stiffler, Glen Rock R.D. 2; a sister, Mrs. Russell Wertz, Hampstead, Md., and six grandchildren.
Mrs. Werner was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Stone Church.
The funeral will be held tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. from her late home with concluding services in Stone Church. Rev. Kenneth S. Ehrhart, pastor of Jefferson Lutheran charge, and Rev. Dr. Paul D. Yoder, pastor of Jefferson Reformed charge, will officiate. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
