Sela Azubah "Zuby" (Eoff) Henry was the daughter of Alexander Eoff and his cousin, Jane Eoff, natives of Tennessee. Zuby was the second born of ten children her sibings being: Margaret A (Eoff) Nichols, John J Eoff, Lucy Cynthia (Eoff) Parrish, Samuel M Eoff, William I H Eoff (d.y.) William J Eoff, Mary E Eoff, Nancy Jane (Eoff) Vinson and Isaac Eoff (d.y.). Zuby was born on her father's farm in Carroll County, Arkansas in that part which later became Boone County. Her family moved to Newton County, Arkansas before 1860.
Zuby married Seth Henry, the son of John B Henry and Jane E Price, July 19, 1874 in Newton County, Arkansas (div). They were the parents of two sons, Harrison D Henry and Samuel H Henry. After her divorce and before 1900 Zuby was living with her sons, her mother and brother, John J Eoff, in Jones County, Texas, her father having died in that county in 1889. In 1910 Zuby, mother Jane, and brother, John J Eoff, were listed living with her married son, Harrison Henry, in Stephens County, Texas. Zuby died in 1915 in her sixty-fifth year.
