MRS. MURTIE D. HUNT, 87, a native of Freetown, Cortland county, died yesterday morning at her home in Buckley rd., town of Salina. She leaves her husband, George E. Hunt; two daughters, Mrs. Melvin Jackson and Mrs. Ruth Gratzer of North Syracuse; a brother, Fred Watrous, North Syracuse; a granddaughter; a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the rooms of Sears, North Syracuse, the Rev. Archie MacKinney of North Syracuse Baptist church officiating. Burial will be in North Syracuse cemetery. Friends are asked to omit flowers and contribute the money to the Cancer Research Fund.
