DESLOGE - Mary A. Compton of Desloge, MO passed away on May 28, 2006 at Mineral Area Regional Center at the age of 75 years. She was born August 18, 1930, the daughter of the late Everette and Belle (Barnett) Jenkins. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Everette and Marcus Jenkins, and four sisters, Myrtle Culton, Helen Carr, Jeannie Jones and Agnes Romines. She was a member of Cantwell Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Bob Compton of Desloge, two sisters, Bernice Nolan of Jefferson City, MO and Connie (Mrs. Bob) Pirtle of Desloge, three daughters, Debbie (Mrs. Bob) Pettus of Roselle, IL, Patti (Mrs. Terry) McIntyre of Desloge, and Janice (Mrs. David) Lavrrar of Arnold, grandchildren, Matt and Drew Pettus, Justin and fianc/ Annie, and Lauren McIntyre, Tammy (Mrs. Bob) Popielewski, and Jennifer Lavrrar, and great-grandchildren, Nick, Grace, and Ben.

Services were 1 p.m. Wednesday at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge with David Pinkston assisted by Rev. Kennard Mayfield. Interment was in Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
